Don’t you know “summer in greece”
you re going to have a great time here because Athens has a lot of people those days and there are a lot of events like concerts, awards etc…
And of course this season it’s not as expensive as the August season

In my opinion only:
Greece is fine, but remember the Greeks like to strike as frequently as changing underwear so just be prepared for anything. Preparation means nothing here as museums, airlines, busses, etc can strike without warning.
Go to the islands, have a good time, but be aware of the “goat rope” that Greece can be at times…

If you want to be prudent, don’t go to Greece. Go to an old peoples home if you want to be sensible.
