Next summer I will be going to Italy (Rome, VC, Capri, Pompeii, maybe Florence) and Greece (Delphi, Athens, maybe some Greek Islands). I’ll be going with EF Tours.
It’ll be 13 days long and I’m wondering how much money I would need for things like snacks and souvenirs.
(Note: This is just for extras, not for flight or hotel)

For anyone who’s been to those places, how much money would you recommend me bringing? And how much is a US dollar worth in Italy and Greece?

My father is suffering from non-resolving pneumonia and has been in the hospital in Greece for over a month where they keep performing unecessary tests and getting nowhere. We are stongly advised by the dr’s here to get him home to the U.S. which we are planning to do but want to hire a dr. to travel with him. He is on oxygen 24/7 and uses a venti mask.
